I have used this drug book for years before I retired from nursing. It comes out yearly. The Dr. I worked with said he did not knowwhy the Drs.' drug handbooks were not as informative. It is well worth the cost.

This drug handbook is great resource. It includes the onset, peak, and duration and is well organized. In addition, the center of the book includes some pictures of PO medications. The book arrived in a timely manner and is well worth the cost.

An excellent and convenient resource for nurses who are too busy to pick up the PDR or other more detailed drug information. I try to update mine each year, as new drugs are coming out too quickly to keep up with them without a handy resource such as the Nursing Drug Handbooks.

I am a nurse & purchase this Drug book every year. This is the best price I have ever found considering the company charges over $54. I am very happy with the book & elated about the price on my fixed income

At least six women have been stabbed to death in the Connecticut River Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont since 1984. The similarities among the killings has led to speculation that they are the work of a single killer. This book describes each murder in great detail, vividly profiling the victims, chronicling the various police efforts to solve the crimes, and considering a number of possible suspects. (One is arrested and convicted of two murders but turns out not to be the serial killer.) The unifying figure in this discursive account is psychologist John Philpin, whose deepening involvement in the case and empathetic attempts to create a psychological profile of the killer ultimately threatens his emotional security. While the chapters provide a series of involving narratives (the account of the one survivor is riveting), the fact that the case remains unsolved gives this book an unfocused and unfinished feel. Finally, it takes issue with the conventional view that postwar economic performance in the Third World has been disastrous, presenting a powerful empirical case that the gap between rich and poor countries is actually narrowing.

Bill Warren (1935–1978) was a British Communist, originally a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain and later a contributor to New Left Review. Technical writer Joseph Joyner has been fascinated with computers and all things having to do with technology since a very early age. When computers were in their infancy young Joseph was tearing them apart just to see how they worked, and he never got over his insatiable curiosity about the latest and greatest gadgets as they became available. As a young man Mr. Joyner went to work in a local computer store as a hardware technician while he worked his way through night school. He continued pursuing his passion while earning a computer science degree in just five years attending classes at night and on weekends. After graduating college he was hired as a Network Administrator and was responsible for maintaining 99% availability of the company's computer network. In addition to his considerable responsibilities Mr. Joyner is also an author of computer related books covering computer programming, gaming, and technical manuals. "Technology has always been my first passion in life. I get a great deal of personal satisfaction from being able to apply technology in new and interesting ways. My previous coal is to develop new software that will revolutionize artificial intelligence and how it's applied to industrial robotics," says Joyner. Those who know him have little doubt that he'll accomplish his goal. His many achievements in advancing the theories and concepts of computer technology have earned him the respect of his peers and superiors alike. Mr. Joyner is married and has two children. He and his family happily reside in a quiet nondescript gated resort community in the Midwestern United States.
